On 9 April 2016, Professor Chen Xiaofa of IEAS attended The Third Annual Conference of China's Cognitive Communication Association at Zhejiang Yuexiu School of Foreign Languages in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, and presented a conference paper on The Experience and Lessons of Chinas Outbound Cultural Communication in East Asia. More than 120 experts and scholars from Peking University, Communication University of China, Sichuan University, Fudan University, Central Michigan University, Hong Kong Baptist University, China Central Television and Broadcast Audio and Video Archive, State General Administration of Press and Publication, Renmin University of China and Zhejiang University had wide academic exchange and heated discussion in the conference.
