With the supports and co-ordinations of various departments of Zhejiang  Gongshang University, IEAS hosted the Five Continents Forum (五洲讲坛) on 6 May 2016. Professor Lee Sung Whoan (李盛焕) of Keimyung University in Korea presented a seminar on Quantative Analysis of East Asian University Students’ State of Consciousness in Territorial Disputes. While territorial disputes are currently flaring up across East Asian Community of China, Japan and Korea in high profile, and generating new and more nuanced ideas about international relations, national identity and state sovereignty in this region, Professor Lee believes that historical perspective is the most suitable prerequisite for solution.
