A warm welcome party for Professor Sung Hwan No (鲁成焕) from the University of Ulsan, Korea and new master students was held at IEAS on 20 September 2016 with the participation of Professor Wang Yong, all IEAS professors and would-be graduates of IEAS.

Professor No , the ex-Dean and founder of Japanese studies program of the University of Ulsan, is currently visiting professor of IEAS. His academic expertise in East Asian ethnology, mythology and Japanese aggression at Chosen Dynasty in 1594 are well-known in academia.

In the welcome party, Professor Wang Yong quoted the famous saying “knowledge is boundless” to encourage new IEAS students. All of them then had orientation under the guidance of would-be IEAS graduates.
