With the
Henry Ford II Professor of the Social Sciences Emeritus Ezra Vogel at Harvard
University acting as
consultant, the series of 20 books edited by Professor Wang Yong of IEAS in
Chinese and Japanese under the serial title of Zhong Ri Wen Hua Jiao Liu Wen
Ku (中日文化交流文库) is honorably listed in the
state project for promotion of traditional Chinese cultural classics overseas.
This state project is headed by the State Council Information Office of
People’s Republic of China and the State Administration of Press, Publication,
Radio, Film and Television of the People’s Republic of China. Zhong Ri Wen Hua Jiao
Liu Wen Ku is simultaneously included
in the key national publication projects 2016. The Chinese and Japanese version
of it will be published by Zhejiang People’s Press and Okusunoki Press
respectively. The two deputy-chief editors of Zhong Ri Wen Hua Jiao Liu Wen Ku are Professor
Chen Xiaofa of Zhejiang Gongshang University and Professor Chen Chong (陈翀) of Kyushu University.
